*So, you're probably wondering what the deal is with the "Neckcar"
instead of "NASCAR" thing. Well, if you don't get it (MIKE!) it goes
back to a guy I listen to on the radio every day--Jim Rome. I think he's on in
Ft. Wayne, too. The show airs weekdays from noon until three and it's a sport's
talk show. He's not into racing at all and usually refers to NASCAR as "Neckcar"
because he assumes that the drivers and fans are all a bunch of 'necks (i.e.
rednecks). He also manages to call every driver "Dale" (e.g Dale
Gordon, Dale Martin, Dale Dalehardt, etc.). I think it's pretty funny and I love
NASCAR. I hope that clears everything up. --Roger DALE Shuman
